KHRI (Kachin Human Rights Insight) is a website representing a human rights organization based in Kachin State. Since the outbreak of conflict in Kachin State in 2012, KHRI has committed itself to documenting human rights abuses, producing comprehensive reports, and advocating for justice and accountability, and providing assistance to victims of human rights abuses and human rights defenders.

KHRI’s objectives:

1. Promote an open, equitable, and just society.

2. Prevent and document human rights violations.

3. Share news and updates on public affairs in Kachin State.

4. Advocate for human rights and democratic values.

5. Address challenges faced by marginalized groups.

6. Combat impunity in the region.

7. Uphold and prioritize human rights.
